Ernest Cook University: A Christ-Centered Institution Guided by the CHRISTE Values
Ernest Cook University is a Christian-based institution committed to providing quality education, professional excellence, and holistic development grounded in biblical principles. The University believes that academic success and professional competence are most meaningful when guided by strong moral values, faith, and a commitment to serving humanity.
At the heart of the University's culture and operations are the CHRISTE Core Values, a framework that shapes the conduct of students, staff, and the wider university community. These values provide a foundation for academic excellence, ethical leadership, compassionate healthcare, and responsible citizenship.
Nurturing Spiritual Growth
Recognizing the importance of spiritual well-being alongside academic and professional development, Ernest Cook University maintains a fully-fledged Chaplaincy Department staffed by three ordained clergy. The Chaplaincy plays a vital role in nurturing the spiritual life of the University community through worship, pastoral care, counseling, mentorship, and faith-based guidance. One of the hallmark spiritual activities at the University is the weekly CHRISTE Moments, held every Wednesday. These gatherings provide students and staff with an opportunity to pause from their busy schedules and reflect on God's word, engage in prayer and worship, and draw inspiration from teachings that reinforce the University's core values. CHRISTE Moments serve as a platform for spiritual renewal, character formation, and community building, helping members of the University remain grounded in faith while pursuing academic and professional excellence. Through its strong Christian foundation, dedicated Chaplaincy, and commitment to the CHRISTE values, Ernest Cook University continues to develop graduates who are academically competent, professionally skilled, ethically grounded, and spiritually mature. The University remains steadfast in its mission to transform lives through education, healthcare, research, and service, while glorifying God in all that it does.
