World Physiotherapy Day 2026 @ Ernest Cook University on September 8, 2026
Ernest Cook University successfully joined the rest of the world yesterday in commemorating World Physiotherapy Day 2026, under the theme focusing on the role of physiotherapists in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of cardiovascular disease and stroke.
The celebration brought together patients, students and physiotherapists for a day dedicated to health education, physical activity, awareness and rehabilitation. Patients who attended benefited from free physiotherapy consultations and assessments, alongside guidance on maintaining an active and healthier lifestyle.
